Baggage Policy
Carry-on Baggage
Aegean Airlines allows passengers to take one carry-on bag, not weighing more than 18 lbs. with them.
The dimensions of this bag should not to exceed 22in x 18in x 10in.
Passengers with a Business Class flight ticket are allowed to bring two carry-on bags with them.
Weighing less than 18 lbs. and 11 lbs., these bags should also adhere to the maximum dimension limit of 22in x 18in x 10in and 18in x 14in x 8in respectively.
Apart from carry-on baggage, all flyers, regardless of the class, are also permitted to carry one personal item such as a handbag or laptop that can conveniently be placed under the seat before them.
Checked Baggage
The checked baggage allowance varies by class, route and several other factors. So, pay heed to the following conditions before making Aegean Airlines booking.
While Economy Class travelers flying with a GoLight ticket aren’t offered free baggage allowance, those with Flex ticket can carry 1 piece of luggage measuring less than 62 inches and not exceeding 50 lbs.
People traveling Business Class are permitted two bags, each weighing up to 70 lbs. within the same dimensions.
Miles+Bonus Golf and Star Alliance Gold members are allowed three cabin bags of up to 70 lbs. in Business Class.
They can also carry two bags weighing less than 50 lbs. in Economy Flex and one with the same weight in Economy GoLight. The maximum dimensions permissible is 62 inches.
The number of bags and permitted dimensions depend on the travel class and several other factors, and can change with time. Therefore, we urge you to check the latest baggage policy after your flight ticket booking is confirmed.
